THANKSGIVING!

Raz-Kids
Today your child is coming home with information on how to have access to eBooks using the school's subscription to Raz-Kids, www.raz-kids.com.  Children can read, listen to and even self record reading the books assigned to them.   Please check your child's backpack for the login information you will need for your child.

On Tuesday, November 25th we will have a small "Thanksgiving Feast" within our classroom.  The children pulled either Pilgrim or Native American out of a basket  to dress up as during our feast.  Pilgrims will be making pilgrim hats and collars and Native Americans will be making head dresses and necklaces to wear during the feast.  I will be offering the children applesauce, popcorn, cornbread pumpkin bread and apple cider during the afternoon feast.  Please let me know if your child should not have any of these food items.  Please send a regular snack in with your child to have during our morning snack time.  

I look forward to our little celebration.  My hope is that the children come our with more knowledge about the first Thanksgiving as well as a greater awareness of all that they have to be thankful for.
