Memorial School

In honor of our school name and Memorial Day, we have been learning patriotic songs and had our own little Memorial Day Parade.  We stopped and recognized the beautiful plaque on our school that displays the names of many Medfield residents who served our country. We thank all those past and present who have served our country.

We had a wonderful day at Southwick Zoo.  Thank you to Mrs. Beck, Mr. Lowney, Mrs. Robertson, Mr. Tabaku, and Mrs. Vazquez for chaperoning our trip.

Johnny the K

The children were very excited to meet Johnny the K. Johnny’s program

focused on character building through music and humor and was highly engaging

and informative for our age group. Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring this

program.

We had fun celebrating Dr. Seuss and  Read Across America this week!

Miss Joy, from Beginning Years, was the community reader who came in and read a story to the children.

MAKER SPACE TIME

Before the children left for vacation they learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.  Below is a bulletin board that we created in honor of President's Day.

Valentine's Day Fun!

Thank you, Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Sroka for another fun party. Thank you also to Mr. Donohue and Mrs. Kenworthy for helping with the activities and to all the families who contributed.  The children had a wonderful day.
